The country's Human Rights Minister Leonard She Okitundu, said afterwards that Mr Kabila had promised to look into the issues raised by Mr Garreton. Human rights groups say more than a-hundred people are being held in prison in Kinshasa because of their political views. Two years ago, Mr Garreton was banned from entering the country after he implicated Mr Kabila's forces in the massacre of Rwandan Hutu refugees.
