3 killed in "sectarian" attack

In the Pakistani city of Karachi, three people have been shot dead by unidentified gunmen.

Police said the armed men barged into a health clinic in southern Karachi and opened fire.

They killed a Shiite Muslim doctor and two other people also in the clinic before escaping on motorcycles.

Police said they suspected the shooting had a sectarian motive.

The killings sparked protests in the area with angry youths setting fire to vehicles.
