The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Laurent Kabila, has sacked three of his cabinet ministers.
President Kabila accused the Ministers for Planning Badimanyi Mulumba, the Economy and Industry Bemba Saolona and Mining Frederic Kibassa Maliba of violating exchange regulations and financial fraud.
The three ministers had been in detention since their arrest in early June.
So far no formal charges have been brought against them.
The State Oil Minister and the Energy minister were also arrested in June. Local newspapers say the charges against the other two ministers are unknown.
