The Iranian news agency says a leading oppposition figure, Ezzatollah Sahabi, has been arrested for his involvement with a political seminar held in Berlin in April.
The arrest follows a search of Mr Sahabi's home, during which documents linking him to the seminar are said to have been found.
His monthly publication Iran Tomorrow Iran-e-farda was closed down in April.
The Berlin meeting has been criticised by Iran's conservative courts as un-Islamic.
Mr Sahabi was arrested soon after three pro-reform figures were released on thousands of dollars' bail.
