Bomb blast in Afghan capital Kabul

Taleban officials in Afghanistan say a bomb exploded inside the Communications ministry building in the centre of the capital, Kabul, late on Saturday but there were no casualties.

A spokesman said the bomb shattered windows in the building.

He said no-one had been detained in connection with the incident yet.

The Taleban last month hanged four men for a series of bomb blasts in Kabul, saying they were connected to the opposition forces of Ahmed Shah Masood.

The opposition has denied this.
